Murrieta Senior Center


Offers a welcoming place for older adults to stay active, learn new skills, and connect with others.


The center features fitness equipment, computer access, classes, and a variety of recreational programs, including arts and crafts, games, and exercise activities.


The center also hosts several outreach services for older adults:


  • Blood Pressure Screenings: Every Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.


  • Legal Assistance: Available on the first and third Thursday of each month. Appointments are required.


  • Medical Power of Attorney Assistance: Second Thursday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. No appointment necessary.


  • Veterans Benefits Assistance: Second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. No appointment necessary.

Dial-A-Ride Transportation


Provides affordable curb-to-curb transportation for older adults and individuals with disabilities. The service can help residents get to appointments, shopping destinations, and other local locations.


Eligibility: Adults age 65 and older and qualifying individuals with disabilities.

Senior Lunch Program


Older adults age 60 and older can enjoy nutritious lunches through the local senior meal program. Meals are coordinated through the Riverside County Office on Aging.


Participants are required to complete an intake form before receiving meals for the first time.

Murrieta Corps Community Center (Salvation Army)


The Salvation Army's Murrieta Corps Community Center provides a variety of services designed to support individuals, families, and older adults throughout the community.


Food Pantry


Food assistance is available to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.


Hours:

  • Monday through Friday

  • 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Closed for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.


Rental & Utility Assistance


Financial assistance may be available to help qualifying households with rent and utility expenses.

Spiritual Support & Bible Study


The Salvation Army provides spiritual care, counseling, prayer support, and faith-based programs for those seeking guidance and encouragement.


Bible Study

  • Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.


Recovery & Anonymous Programs


Support meetings are available for individuals seeking recovery and personal growth.
