Chino Senior Center

  1. The Chino Senior Center offers activities, classes, trips, social events, lunch, transportation and support services for adults age 50 and older. Amenities include a computer lab, billiards room, exercise space, kitchen and multipurpose rooms. The senior center also provides:


  1. AARP - Driver Safety A two-day course that will enable drivers to refresh their driving skills and understand how to adjust to age-related challenges.

  2. Aide Equipment Program

    A program that will loan mobile equipment, including walkers, canes, crutches, and wheelchairs.

  3. Case Management

    Provides information and referrals for City of Chino seniors 50+. A bilingual Case Manager will provide an assessment of an individual's needs and then match them with existing resources.

  4. S.M.A.R.T. Senior Transportation Program

    Free door-to-door morning transportation for Chino senior residents, 50+. Transportation to and from the Senior Center, doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, and pharmacy pick-up within the City limits.

  5. Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP) Helps older adults understand Medicare, compare supplemental plans, examine your rights as a healthcare consumer, and explore long-term care options.

  6. Prescription Assistance Through Community Help (P.A.T.C.H.)

    Portion or full assistance with prescription costs.


  7. Door Décor & More

    Older adults can get a festive door hanger to brighten their homes for the holiday season.


  8. Senior Nutrition and Food Assistance

    Nutritious lunches are served at the Chino Senior Center, and home-delivered meals may be available for qualifying homebound residents. Eligible older adults may also receive supplemental food through the Senior Mobile Pantry Program, offered in partnership with Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino. Food distributions are held at the Senior Center.

  9. Day Trips

    The City of Chino also offers day trips and tours for adults age 19 and older, unless otherwise noted. Trips may be canceled if there is not enough participation. Complete itineraries are available at the Chino Senior Center.
