Mary Phillips Senior Center

The Mary Phillips Senior Center offers a variety of activities, programs, and services for older adults in the Temecula area. Programs may include social activities, educational opportunities, health and wellness programs, special events, and more.

Congregate Meal Program

The Mary Phillips Senior Center serves as a meal site for the Riverside County Senior Nutrition Program. This federally funded program provides nutritious lunches for older adults and eligible individuals.

Meals are offered on a donation basis for adults age 60 and older. A suggested contribution of $3 per meal is appreciated but not required.

Individuals under age 60 may participate by paying a guest fee of $6 per meal.

Transportation to the Senior Center

The City of Temecula provides door-to-door transportation to the Mary Phillips Senior Center for eligible residents who wish to participate in the Nutrition Program.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be age 60 or older

  • Must live within Temecula city limits

  • Must not own a vehicle or be unable to drive due to medical reasons

Transportation Schedule:

  • Pick-up: 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

  • Return home: 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Cost:

  • $1 round trip

  • Or $15 monthly pass

Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) Reduced Fares

The Riverside Transit Agency offers discounted fares for seniors age 60 and older and individuals with disabilities.

Reduced Fare:

  • $1.25 one-way trip

Photo Identification Card:

  • $2 fee

  • Valid for three years

Dial-A-Ride Transportation

Dial-A-Ride provides transportation services throughout the Temecula area.

Hours of Operation:

  • Monday through Friday

  • 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Temecula Cool Center

During periods of extreme heat, the Mary Phillips Senior Center serves as a Cool Center where residents can escape high temperatures in a safe, air-conditioned environment.

The Cool Center is available to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and youth when temperatures reach 97°F or higher.

Visitors can enjoy a comfortable indoor space and complimentary light snacks provided through the Community Action Partnership.
