About Us
Elder Love USA, Inc. was founded by Shannon Shea in April 2016, born out of a passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
During her internship at the Huntington Beach Senior Center, Shannon worked in the case management division, where she had the opportunity to engage directly with older adults.
It was during this time that she witnessed the challenges many older adults face. Most of them just need a little extra help with daily tasks like shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and pet care.

However, the high cost of traditional home caregiving services made this support out of reach for many middle-class families whose income is too high to qualify for government assistance but not high enough to afford private home care.
Moved by their stories, Shannon felt there had to be a better, more affordable way to provide these essential services.
This insight became the driving force behind the creation of Elder Love USA.
Today, through a combination of client support, partnerships with managed care partners, creative fundraisers, individual donations, sponsorships, and grants, Elder Love USA makes home care accessible by providing services at a reduced rate.
We are the only nonprofit caregiving agency in the state of California.

Our founder completed this award-winning program dedicated to advancing nonprofits. The training, taught by leading nonprofit management experts, focuses on improving operational efficiency so organizations like ours can better support the communities we serve.
About Our Founder
Shannon Shea holds a Bachelor of Social Work with a concentration in gerontological social work from Brandman University, as well as a Master of Social Work with a specialization in gerontology from Louisiana State University.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Gerontology Leadership at Concordia University, where she is working on her dissertation.
In addition, Shannon has earned a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the RAP Foundation at UC Riverside, Palm Desert, and a certificate in Executive Leadership from the Center for Peak Performance.
She is also currently enrolled in Quantum Mastery through the Peter Sage Academy.
