We understand the impact of Alzheimer's and Dementia.
720,000
people aged 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s in California
Over 7 Million
Americans are living with Alzheimer's
2.5 Million
people living with Alzheimer’s dementia are expected to be age 85 or older
Caregiving someone with Alzheimer's involves a wide range of tasks that vary in complexity and need.
Caregiving can include help with daily tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and medical appointments, as well as personal care needs like bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, and incontinence support.
Caregivers may also assist with medication reminders, managing ongoing health conditions, and providing companionship and emotional support.
Because these responsibilities are wide ranging and often change over time, caregiving can quickly become overwhelming for individuals and families.
Elder Love USA can help.
