Aging and Adult Services
The Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) is a San Bernardino agency dedicated to helping seniors and at risk individuals to improve or maintain choice, independence and quality of life.

Adult Protective Services
The Adult Protective Services (APS) program is mandated by the State of California. San Bernardino County APS strives to have all elders and dependent adults live their lives free from the threat or reality of abuse.

Age Wise
Age Wise is a non-traditional mental health program for the high-risk and underserved older adult population. Services are provided throughout the County of San Bernardino to older adults age 59 and older who would benefit from behavioral health and wellness services and who may be seeking assistance connecting to resources to help meet basic needs.
Family Caregiver Support Program
The intent of the program is to serve caregivers – spouses, daughters, sons, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or neighbors – that have been providing care on an informal basis.
In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program
The IHSS Program is a federal, state and locally funded program designed to help pay for services provided to you so that you can remain safely in your own home. The types of services which can be authorized through IHSS are housecleaning, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, personal care services (such as bowel and bladder care, bathing, grooming and paramedical services), accompaniment to medical appointments, and protective supervision for the mentally impaired.
Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP)
HICAP provides information and assistance with Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Prescription Drug coverage and other related health insurance issues as well as Medicare counseling for Medicare beneficiaries.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program
Ombudsmen are independent, trained and certified advocates for residents living in long-term care facilities. Ombudsman services are confidential and free of charge. Ombudsman assist with quality of care issues, abuse investigation, resident rights violations, formation of resident and family councils, training & education, facility monitoring.
Multipurpose Senior Services Program
The primary objective of MSSP is to avoid or delay the inappropriate placement of persons in nursing facilities, while fostering independent living in the community. MSSP provides services to eligible clients and their families enabling them to remain in their homes. MSSP provides services such as basic housekeeping chores, personal hygiene, personal health care chores, grocery shopping, and transportation to non-emergency medical appointments.
Nutrition Services
Congregate and Home Delivered meals are served throughout the County to eligible individuals. Each meal shall provide at least 1/3 of the Daily Reference Intakes.
Senior Community Services Employment Program
The Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP) offers part-time on-the-job training positions to qualified persons. The purpose of the Senior Community Services Employment Program is to offer a temporary "stepping stone" back into the work force. Positions with the Senior Community Services Employment Program are not meant to be permanent employment.
Senior Information and Assistance
The Senior Information and Assistance Program provides information and assistance to help a senior citizen solve problems he or she may have.

Comprehensive & Professional Care
We provide comprehensive support, including personal care, mobility assistance, housekeeping, communication, and transportation.
All of our caregivers undergo background checks and receive training and certification through the Caregiver Training University.
Our private pay in-home care services are $28 per hour, with a two-hour minimum per visit, no long-term contracts
