Below is a list of volunteer opportunities at our non-profit thrift store.

  • Greeter
Make someone's day by welcoming them in, showing them our discount wheel and letting them know how their dollars are being used to help local seniors - one of our most important positions!

  • Cashier
This is another vital volunteer role.  As a cashier, you have the opportunity to make a wonderful lasting impression on our customers while you offer a free reusable tote for signing up on our VIP email list, explain the benefits of rounding up their purchase and explain how the giving wall works.

  • Bagger
Volunteer baggers help the cashier by wrapping and folding items into our bags

  • Retail  Assistant
Our retail assistants keep our retail floor looking neat and tidy by straightening up clothing racks, shelf items, dressing rooms and restocking shelves.

  • Receiving Donations
We rely entirely on donated items - they are a precious as gold! We need volunteers with friendly dispositions and strong backs to help receive donated goods.

  • Donation Sorter
Our sorters help keep our backroom neat and efficient. This role requires a discerning eye to spot the hidden gems, the vintage, and luxury items to be sold online.

  • eCommerce
This is an entire division of the store where we photograph, post and sell items online both locally and nationally.

  • Pricing and Tagging Items
This volunteer tags the items and determines their price - a critical role at the thrift store.

  • Cleaning
Although everyone participates in keeping our stores neat and clean, this volunteer will sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and clean as needed.

  • Special Events
Love to plan parties and events? We need you!  We are always looking for new and fun ways to raise money and to give back to the community.

  • Volunteer Coordinator
The volunteer coordinator is responsible for managing all elements of volunteering.  They source and recruit volunteers, arrange for training, assign responsibilities and manage schedules.

I understand and agree that submitting this application form does not automatically register me as a Elder Love USA Non-Profit Thrift Store volunteer, and that there may be certain qualifications I must meet and agree to, such as a Background Check, various Agreements/Waivers and the acceptance of established volunteer policies and procedures before I may begin volunteering.

By submitting this form, I also attest that the information I have provided on the form is true and accurate.

Thanks for submitting! We will contact you soon!
