Home Care With A Heart
Who We Are
We are a creative and innovative solution that focuses primarily on helping those middle class older adults who make "too much" to qualify for free help, but not enough to pay traditional in-home care rates.
Elder Love has a 2 hour minimum requirement for caregiving clients, and no long term contracts.
We primarily operate in southern California but we have new locations opening soon.
Our Mission
We aim to provide in home care at a reduced rate.
We are able to do this through a combination of client support, partnerships with managed care partners, fundraisers, individual donations, sponsorships, grants and our cleaning program revenue.
Support Us
There are numerous ways to support our mission

You can sign up for our grocery rewards program, donate your vehicle, use our cleaning service, join our board or making a one-time or monthly donation.

Our Founder
Elder Love USA, Inc. was founded by Shannon Shea in April 2016, born out of a passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
With a master’s degree in gerontological social work, Shannon has dedicated her career to supporting seniors and their families. She is also currently pursuing her doctorate in Gerontology Leadership from Concordia University, further deepening her expertise in the field.
During her internship at the Huntington Beach Senior Center, Shannon worked in the case management division, where she had the opportunity to engage directly with older adults.
It was during this time that she witnessed the challenges many seniors face—needing just a little extra help with daily tasks like shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and pet care. However, the high cost of traditional in-home caregiving made this support out of reach for many.
Moved by their stories, Shannon felt there had to be a better, more affordable way to provide these essential services.
This insight became the driving force behind the creation of Elder Love USA.
Today, Elder Love continues to operate with this mission at heart, bridging the gap between care needs and affordability by offering innovative solutions to ensure older adults receive the help they need to live independently with dignity.
